"I have been wary of discussing a certain ex-Medical Doctor and his faked and fraudulent evidence to prove that Autism was caused by toxicity of anything a parent may have done to protect their child from preventable diseases. Not because I ever believed it - no Sirree! I have two beautiful and very healthy children who happen to have Autism.
But because any discussion of the above topic will usually bring on a hail of Trolls whose only mission in life seems to be to believe just about anything that cannot be proved. The Earth is flat, and it was made by a Guy riding a Cloud in 7 days, and You Know What causes Autism - they believe it. I can see where the myth starts, and for that I forgive the parents who were bamboozled into believing it.People talk about Autism "kicking in" suddenly at the age of 18 months or so. They also talk about "Degenerative Autism" which is not a real thing. What they are experiencing is actually increasing visible coping behaviours that come as a result of lack of intervention."
I have to chuckle at this.. I never knew I was bamboozled into believing anything.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I wouldn't knock her, but degrading people isn't going to help anyone either. This post gets better as it goes on, talking about getting a diagnosis, get a referral for the appropriate evidence based interventions to support sensory issues, communication and life skills - and you will find that "The Autism" stops "degenerating" and then we can see our child as an interesting little person who is worth getting to know and understand.
This statement is as close minded as saying a child develops autism because of neglect and lack of attention. But I think my favorite statement went something like...... If you see your child as a person to be respected and understood, you would be less likely to spend valuable resources of tolerance on quackery and uncomfortable "cures."
People that search for answers, and "cures" respect their children and have an uncontrollable desire to help them. They won't sit back and wait for someone else to come in and "fix" them. Children with autism share common medical problems such as diarrhea, constipation, GI problems, and acid reflux. So why is it so taboo to try and heal these kids naturally. When did medical intervention from a doctor become the norm?
I don't need people to believe the changes my daughter has made... I share my life with the world because I am offering you a sense of hope. I want to show that restoring our children's gut will allow them to absorb their food better. It will allow them to fight off common toxins that would not affect most people. When we restore the balance in our bodies we can feed the brain the nutrients that it has been lacking and allows it to work up to it's full potential.
There is no denying the fact that when I changed Gabby's diet, the number of tantrums decreased and her speech became more prevalent. When I feel her body the vitamins it lacked her diarrhea stopped and she was able to make more eye contact along with providing her the ability to feel pain ( which she didn't before hand).
If you read this and you want to criticize me, go ahead. If you want to put down my theory, by all means do. If you read this and think I am wasting my time seeking out the impossible because I don't want to have to deal with my child then nothing i say will be able to tell you you couldn't be further from the truth. If you read this and see what I am doing is natural and see that we can help these precious little children then I have accomplished my goal.
I love my children more then anything in the world, there isn't ANYTHING I wouldn't do for them.
Honestly, the diet change isn't easy...
I have a LOT of money invested in the diet and supplements....
I have spend endless hours researching so that I can make educated decisions on her behalf..
I am not sitting around waiting for someone else to help "fix" my daughter...
Every sacrifice I make is to provide my children with a better quality of life <3
I am not following a pipe dream, I am just trying to make all my daughters dreams come true, so what's wrong with that???????????
